Craig Kennedy is an experienced and active music educator and conductor who has held positions as a classroom and instrumental teacher in Brisbane schools across the private and state sectors. He is currently the Head of Cocurricular Music at St Rita’s College, Clayfield, where he coordinates the growing music program and teaches classroom music.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Arts Music degree from Queensland University of Technology, Bachelor of Education from the Australian Catholic University and the Australian Kodaly Certificate. As a conductor, Craig has directed community ensembles, student ensembles, the Queensland Young Conservatorium Wind Ensemble and has been a guest conductor at music camps in Brisbane and Sydney.

Craig is also an active performer previously holding the position of principal Trombone in the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra. He is the current Queensland treasurer of the Australian Band and Orchestra Director’s Association.
